Not sure about you, but I'm sometimes so concerned about the future, that I am unable to focus on the present. Apparently, I am not the only one who suffers from this.
A lot of times I start to worry about a situation and immediately start to doubt even before I attempt the task.
After going back and forth sometimes for weeks, I then find the strength to overcome the doubts and go for it.
Often I wonder if my results would have been better if I didn't start doubting myself & started with faith instead of procrastinating, worrying and doubting.
Many times, it may be difficult but keep in mind; Worry is uncreative;
In fact worry is completely useless.
"Who by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
• Jesus says that worrying is unproductive.
It doesn't work. It's useless. Likewise, doubting keep you from starting; it holds us back from effectiveness.
You don’t make any progress!
Remember, worrying, doubting and wondering about the what if's doesn’t change anything; they don't change yesterday; nor will they affect tomorrow. All they can do is make you miserable today.
Focus on the fact that God will see you through anything, not on the bad things that might happen. Every time you start to worry & doubt, write down what you have and start thanking God for them all.
When we accept the fact that bad things will happen, but a good God will see us through them, it changes our focus. We begin to concentrate on how big our God is, not how big our problems are. We know that God is able, and that is all we need to know.
Have faith that God can handle EVERYTHING, and even use the bad for our benefit.
